Eunice Parsons

The Art of Paper Collage

Eunice Parsons is an American master of
the art of collage. Her bold compositions
of torn and cut paper, given content by the
juxtaposition of found images and words,
are among the best in the genre. Parsons'
love of language and a lifetime of travel in
Europe and China are reflected in the
work. Many pieces are made from
salvaged foreign subway posters and
other samples of print media.

Parsons has exhibited consistently from
the 1950s to the present, and her work is
included in an extensive list of public and
private collections. We invite you to view
images of her work on the following
pages.
