Colin started a series of portrait
drawings from life using pastel, charcoal, and later, ink, in 1979. This work culminated in a group of large portraits in oil on canvas in 1985 and 1986. |

In 1988 the artist began
using photographs as the basis for landscape paintings. This work continues to the present. |
