Artist's Biography
Carol Colin was born in Tacoma, Washington in 1952. She graduated with a
Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, ( then the
Museum Art School ), in Portland, Oregon, in 1974. She has lived in Los Angeles,
California with her husband, Ted Waltz, since 1976. Together, they ran the
24th Avenue Gallery in Portland from 1974 to 1975, and Oranges/Sardines Gallery in
downtown Los Angeles from 1978 to 1988. OrangesSardines Window Gallery, their
current exhibition venue, opened in November, 2000. Colin's work is included in a
number of private collections.
